• This device boosts existing outside signal...there are other devices that boost via wired internet connection so you have other options. I've successfully used the zBoost yx545 in a house with wired internet, am looking to try the weboost for a rural setting where I cannot get wired internet. Good luck!

• It only improves cell service where the transmitting antenna is located. I put this unit in my house and my cell service inside went from 0-1 bar to 3-4 bars.
