Is the thermostat wireless? null

It is wireless with regard to your Wi-Fi connection however there are wires involved in the installation. If your Sensi unit requires batteries this eliminates the need for the blue common wire to be hooked up. Please see photos on the product page.

Hi Kitty, thank you for your question about the Sensi Smart Thermostat. The thermostat has WiFi capabilities, so you can control it from anywhere as long as it is connected to the WiFi. It is not wireless because you still have to connect the thermostat to wires on your HVAC system for it to control the system.
