I think they are Li rechargable batteries
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Judging by the capacity and type markings I'm pretty sure it is lithium.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The battery is rechargeable and either NiCad or Lithium - I could not determine which. It is internal and supposed to be long-lasting and I don't see an easy way to replace it. At the price of the vacuum, I'd suspect the battery would likely be the same cost as a new vacuum.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NiCad. That's why it is so inexpensive. LIon is better, but for this application I am getting great service out of the NiCads.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The pamphlet that came with it doesn't say which type of battery it has. It does state, however, that it is fine to leave the vacuum on the charging station. That indicates to me that it isn't lithium, as leaving it there, plugged in, would eventually ruin a lithium battery. I have yet to run the battery down - although I do have a small apartment.
