• The activities in WordPerfect are quite similar to those in MS Word. You open and make changes to Word documents in WordPerfect and then save them in either format.

• In my experience, anything Microsoft Office can do WordPerfect can do as well. There may be a difference in how it's done, but after you've mastered the learning curve (which is pretty intuitive) it's all good.

• Yes and no, depends on the specific activity. You may need to do the activity in a different way. For my needs, Wordperfect usually works better.
