To me, which program is better is subjective. Both with do the same things. That is, creating and editing document. I have been using WordPerfect since the days of DOS and feel that WordPerfect is more intuitive than others I've tried. WordPerfect makes it very easy to find and remove codes for removing unwanted fonts and commands to get the visual results people want. In my experience, this is easier in WorpPerfect than Word. And, of course, there are people who might argue that they prefer Word over WordPerfect.
