Are the shelves adjustable or permanently placed? null

Adjustable. To be honest I would not recommend this stand for the price. It took about 4 hours to assemble and the drawer got stuck in cabinet first time I pushed it in. I would complain but I don't want to waste my time so I just can't open the drawer. It feels like its worth about $150. Cheap plywood.
