QuestionThe width is listed as 60" which I assume is the width at the front. The width tapers toward the back to allow the stand to go into the corner. How wide is the back? Thank you!

QuestionI need a TV stand that can be put over a large air conditioner vent, so I need as much clearance as possible. Can the lower shelf be removed without jeopardizing the unit itself?

- Answer Hello Diana, removing the bottom shelf would affect the stability of this unit and would not be recommended.

- Answer Hello, this TV stand does not mount or secure the TV to itself. The TV is placed on top of the top shelf.
