• I wouldn't trust the existing wiring. Switch out the wiring with the cables that came with the power supply to be on the safe side.

• Never re use the ac power plug between power supplies you can and will fry your psu mobo/cpu and maybe more. Only ever use the cable included with each psu.

• For the most part, it will be plug and play. You might be able to use the same cables, but you might want to switch them out because of efficiency and just that the cables will be a little old.
