Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This particular keyboard has Cherry MX Red switches. They are an RGB (Red Green Blue) version that allows you to change the colors to your liking. But they are Cherry MX Reds indeed. Though I will warn you, if you are particular about the feel of your keys and are used to Cherry MX Red switches, you might not like these so much. I think it has something to do with the switch housing being a little larger to accommodate for the lighting (rather than just being a small LED in the body like the K70's have). So the Cherry MX Reds on this keyboard will likely feel different (again, if you are particular) than the Cherry MX Reds on the K70's and such. They don't give you as much as a "clack clack" sound when bottoming out. They are muffled a bit. Also, the keystroke feels slightly different. More deliberate than the Cherry MX Reds on the K70's and others. Not as smooth. I'm currently using this keyboard currently, though I personally can't stand it because mine's having severe double tap issues possibly due to the new switch design or what have you. But other people seem to like it and I don't think they have such issues. Whatever you decide to get, enjoy! Also, if you like the linear feel of Cherry MX Reds, but don't like how light they feel, you can find a keyboard with Cherry MX Black switches, which has a slightly higher resistance linear design.
I would recommend:

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This particular model, the K65 RGB only comes with Cherry MX Red switches. Also, it is a Best Buy exclusive model. Corsair does indeed make a K70 model, which is a full size keyboard (not a ten keyless like this one) and they do offer those with Cherry MX Red, Blue and Brown switches. But with those you will not get the RGB feature. The K70 with Cherry MX Red comes with Red or Blue backlighting, and the Cherry MX Blue and Brown models only come with Blue backlighting. Though I believe they are expanding the options soon. The K70 RGB only comes with Cherry MX Red switches.
