• This is a USB headset, so no; it will not connect to the controller. You would have to run it to the front of the machine. You need non-USB headsets to connect to the controller directly.

• It is a USB connector, no adapter. I do not own a PS4, but according to other sites, you would have to buy a plug-and-play audio extractor (no dirvers needed) and converter cables if the extractor does not have a USB port.
