You hook the PWM cables to the motherboard where it may say "fan", the controller connects to a spare power source cord. the motherboard powers the fan, the lighting kit hub powers the LEDS, and the controller for colors/speed/mode plugs into the lighting kit hub. you can run it outside your case and apply it somewhere on outside your box
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The RGB wires connect to your Corsair hub, from the hub will connect to SATA cable. The second wire from fan will connect to your 3 pin fan hub on motherboard, or daisy chain all three to a 3amp 3 pin fan controller hub on motherboard.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You’ll need to check your motherboard manual. There should be a connector labeled fan to connect to. If your motherboard doesn’t have any spares, you may want to consider the Corsair commander pro.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The fan LEDs go to the hub the power go to fan header on the motherboard. Then attach the j Corsair cable to the j Corsair header on motherboard and then to the Corsair led hub where the push button control was. Then they can be controlled by the motherboard MFG software.
