This headset has an option where it plugs the headphone jack into a USB adapter. So your best bet is to use the USB. My computer also has separate audio and mic jacks and I use the USB and it works well!

Please try again later.You could buy one of those little splitters that separates the combined earbud-and-mic style connector this has into separate mic and headphone jacks. Or, you could just plug the included USB adapter into your PC, if you are using a PC, and plug the headset audio jack into the USB adapter. The USB adapter comes in the box with the headset. I hope this helps; I don't really understand from your question what kind of device you are using.
