A:Answer The headset has a standard cell-phone-style multi-segment 3.5mm audio plug on the end of the cord, but in the box is a USB adapter for connecting to PCs that don't support the multi-segment 3.5mm plugs carrying microphone signals. The USB adapter also supports simulated 7.1 surround sound if you install separate software drivers. I just wanted this for video conferencing and listening to stereo music, so I didn't install the surround drivers. The USB adapter was plug-and-play with Windows 10, autodetected and installed whatever built-in audio driver Windows uses. It just works in Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and for music listening.
