• You may need to go into the sound settings and either enable the microphone on the headset as default switch it to it.

• You can check your mic through the Corsair Utility Engine which can be downloaded on their website.

• Plug in the mic to the provided port on the left earcup. On the same ear cup there is a button for mic mute. If the headphones are on, connected, and you have voice prompts enabled the headphones should tell you "mic on" or "mic off" when you press, not press and hold, the button. If voice prompts are off a small symbol should flash on screen for a few seconds indicating mic on/off.
