“I bought a prebuilt computer with a ASRock B450M Pro4 mother board. I didn't get any extra mounting brackets. Will this simply install or am I missing brackets for this to work in plug-n-play fashion?”

I purchased this and it was plug in play. I had the necessary plastic bracket I've seen other posts talk about. It was already installed on the motherboard with the Ryzen 5 2600 chip that was included with the prebuild rig

The kit should come with some brackets for Intel and AMD. Now since you have a prebuilt might want to check and make sure there are no brackets from your old CPU fan on the back of the motherboard.
