• Yes, this is compatible with any modern core Intel socket, including LGA1200. I would recommend at least a 280mm size cooler for an i9, especially if you plan on overclocking at all.

• If this is the Intel 1151 Socket (I9-9900) variant then "yes" this will work... But you may want to consider a 280mm or 360mm AIO. I am sure the 240mm unit will keep it relatively cool, but the I9 CPU has been reported to run HOT even when run in stock settings! I watched quite a few I9-9900 thermal test reviews on YouTube, and I elected to go a safer route and installed a 360 AIO in my I9 build. But, I also had the space to install it inside my Dark Base Pro 900 case... It's big! So, if you want to get into over clocking the CPU I would strongly recommend a bigger AIO.
