• This is a mechanical keyboard and has a distinct feel. It is configured like most other keyboard save for the fact that it does not have a 10-key.

• Simple answer is YES, you can use as a standard office or home keyboard whether you game or not. I would suggest that while you are on the couch using this keyboard wirelessly that you try out a few simpler games> It is what I did and I now game about ten hours s week and enjoy the heck out of it.
