I have the low-profile model with Cherry MX Speed Switches. They are quiet, smooth and linear. There is no noticeable tactile bump or click with these switches. The speed switches have a much shallower activation point, therefore you don't have to push the key all the way down to activate it. This is a big advantage to gamers who can train themselves to press the key only far enough to activate the switch and not have to follow through with the full range of key travel. That makes repeat key strikes much faster.
