• Yes. On the top left of the keyboard you have brightness control which offers four light intensity levels. From no backlight to full brightness. Hope this helps!

• You can tun off the lights. My son helped me download the software and many clicks later he changed the rainbow lights to white lights only which was easier on my eyes.

There is also a backlight brightness key towards the top left of the keyboard, so you have quick access to adjusting brightness.
