“Do the LED stay lit if the USB is plugged in but the power is off”

The short answer is yes. However, I have found that if I tap a button, it does turn on. I'm sure it's a setting somewhere I have missed.

No, when you power off the computer the LEDs go dark.

It depends if the usb port always has power or not. Mine does.

Hello Mike, the keyboard requires 2 USB ports to function completely. It can work if you only use 1 port, but without the second you won’t be able to use RGB or the USB passthrough (so you can plug something like a mouse into the keyboard itself)
