Does this mouse have any software, or is it plug & play? null

Both. You can plug in the USB dongle and use it immediately, no downloads required. Although, you can download Corsair iCue and manage the colors, fine tune sensitivity/DPI, assign profiles to the mouse for easy switching between people/programs. Not to mention, software is free. Hope this helps!
