I don't believe so. They mail you the code along with the promotional redemption link. No mention of it being tied to an email.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The code will be tied to your E-mail, but what you can do is, you can log-in to your friend's Uplay ID and claim to game to his Ubisoft account. The game will be added to his library.
