“Can you use the headset at the same time as the keyboard? My son has to hook up his headset and controller or the keyboard and mouse because he can't hook up together. That's the reason I'm considering this purchase.”

You just need 2 usb ports for the keyboard and mouse, and then you use the y adapter for the headset to plug into speaker out and microphone out on the computer. They are the green and red headphone jacks.
