Will this fit a hp omen desktop. Model number 870 244 null

yes, it will fit in the hp omen that u have. I had the same one just the 750W one in my hp omen and it fit, this one has same specs but is just a tad bit longer.

I just looked at the specs for the 870 244 case and I am going to say probably not. This PS is larger than lower wattage power supplies, the case I mounted the PS in is approximately 19 inches from front to back, 8.5 inches wide and I had a hard time getting the PS into the allotted space.

I'm afraid you'd have to confirm that with HP in case they use a special bracket to mount a PSU unless it uses the regular ATX PSU mounting standard.
