A:Answer I went ahead and researched this myself, since I wouldn't have bothered asking if it could be verified by looking at something as simple as a part number, they didn't change PNs, please. Contacting Corsair directly I was informed they only ship the latest generations after the previous run is gone, this has apparently been the practice for some time. So while the unit pictured is of the V1 series, manufactured prior to 2018 if what I am told is true, these will all be V2. So maybe you could actually answer questions "Corsair Art" instead of pointing out the painfully obvious that is almost guaranteed to send customers like myself running cash in hand to anyone else who will take it.
