• A:Answer It’s the type of memory. It literally stands for Double Data Rate generation 4. There is ddr3 and ddr4 (this memory) and ddr5. Ddr5 is usually for video ram and ddr4 is faster than ddr3 for general ram. The exact speed will be dertermjned by the MHz but ddr4 is generally superior to ddr3 and ddr5 is for video cards not really for general memory.

• A:Answer The version that is on shelves is Intel-compatible RAM that runs at 1.35V and runs at 3200MHz. It will run with 4 DIMM slots but you have to underclock the RAM to make it work.

• A:Answer First off, you gotta make sure your ram in your current machine is DDR4, and the mobo can support the speed you're going for. Once you make sure that everything is compatible, it's as simple as opening the tabs, taking out the ram, and slotting in new ones.
