“Can you tell me if this will work in a Dell inspiron 3647 and optiplex 3040. When I look at the information it doesn't give the computers it is compatible with”

• Hi, It wouldn't, you need DDR3L ram for the 3647 and same goes for the 3040. Please refer to their specific manuals for more information. If you have any other questions, please reach out: support.corsair.com
