• Yes if you have 2 empty DDR4 slots empty you can use the dual pack to get a extra 16gb of ram

• As long as you would replace the memory that came with that desktop, it shouldn't be an issue. Adding more memory to a computer could always give you issues, but feel free to give it a try if you have empty memory slots.
