• I would not add ram that does not match what is already in the system. The best thing to do is go to crucial.com, let them scan your computer, and they can tell you what you can use.

• Hi Jenn, This would not work, you'll need a DDR4 SO-DIMM kit instead. Please refer to your system's manual for specific information on memory upgrade parameters, and do contact us if you have any other questions after that: support.corsair.com
