“What would happen if you take out memory from your PC when you already have things downloaded on to the old ram and would it harm the PC to take out the old ram even with the PC off”

• Hi, Nothing would happen as DRAM does not have anything to do with long term (storage) memory such as a SSD, HDD. If you have any more questions, please reach out: support.corsair.com

• You can change out and change clock speeds on ram without issue with windows other than hardware failure.
