A:AnswerHi Terry,
According to your system specs, it should support the memory kit. Please be sure to check with MSI to ensure that your system officially supports the memory.

Yes, this memory kit would work with that laptop. A:AnswerHi Chris,
Based on the maintenance & service guide for that model laptop (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05635976.pdf), it supports a maximum capacity of 16GB (2x8GB) at 2400/2133 MHz. This VENGEANCE memory kit should suit your laptop fine. If you have any additional questions, we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com

A:AnswerHi,
Based on the model provided, that laptop may have 4GB of soldered memory and supports a maximum of 12GB memory. Since there's only one open DDR4 SO-DIMM socket, this memory kit would be ideal: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/Mainstream-Memory/Corsair-Memory-8GB-%281x8GB%29-DDR4-SODIMM-2133MHz-C15-Memory-Kit/p/CMSO8GX4M1A2133C15. I recommend contacting Lenovo support (https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/) to verify compatibility. If you have any additional questions, we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com

A:AnswerHi Ty,
If you are referring the 16-a0000, I recommend this memory kit since it matches the current memory's speed: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/Vengeance-Series-SODIMM/p/CMSX16GX4M2A2933C19. If you have any additional questions, we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com

A:AnswerIt would be a good idea to contact HP support and ask them if this ram is on the Qualified Vendors List for that particular laptop. That is what I did when I wanted to install the Vengeance ram in my HP 15 laptop. It works flawlessly and a lot faster as well. I upgraded mine from 4 GB to 16 GB.
A:AnswerHi,
We require additional details of your gaming system in order to verify compatibility. Please provide us your system model and we'll happily help you: support.corsair.com

A:AnswerHi Jake,
I was unable to confirm that this memory kit's rated speed would be compatible with that laptop. I suggest this kit instead: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/Vengeance-Series-SODIMM/p/CMSX16GX4M2A3200C22. It's also 2x8GB, but is rated for 3200 MHz which is Lenovo's recommended speed. Feel free to let us know if you have any more questions: support.corsair.com

A:AnswerHi Lucas,
The speed should be compatible as 2400 is the base speed for DDR4, but you'll want to check with Dell to ensure that your system supports the capacity.
