• Yes it can be used for those activities. Also, they do have a wireless version as well. However, the USB wired version has a very quiet mic even with all the settings maxes out. I am not sure how the wireless one compares.

• This should work with Zoom and Skype or any other app that uses a microphone. It isn't wireless but Corsair does offer a model that is.
