• Yes. Just go buy a new sim card from the cricket store and put it in the new phone. This is what we did. Or take the phone with you and they can help you. You will need to pay for activation of the new sim card

• Yes, you will have to transfer your service to your new phone by going to Cricket website and activating your phone by adding the information from the box.
