I don't think there is a time limit for the sim card, the service is month to month (no contract)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure how long you have to activate the SIM card but I wouldn't wait more than six months. Cricket is an MVNO - you can choose a plan and only pay for that month; but chances are that you'll probably have to pay an activation fee each time you intermittently use the service. It's not like FreedomPop's buisiness model. Cricket is actually a real mobile phone service that you don't have to use WiFi for calling.
