Thank you for reaching out and for your question. I have looked up your system and found that part number CT1000MX500SSD1 is in fact compatible with your laptop. I hope you have a great day!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It work in all system (laptops and desktop) with sata interface. You can choose clone your existing SSD to the new one 1tb SSD, if you can or install the new as a backup storage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What is the model number of the laptop? The copied-and-pasted description doesn't specify what the actual laptop is. It sounds like a $700 laptop from Best Buy. If you do own the laptop but are not sure of the model, the easiest thing to do is go to Crucial.com and use the Scan My Computer tool. It will download a small file which simply reads the system configuration and sends it back to Crucial (not data, just hardware info) and their website tells you what you can buy to get the most out of it. If you don't own it but are looking at buying one, you'll want to specify the exact model. Some configurations may come with or without the required cable, caddy, etc. and most Asus models which do NOT have a SATA-interface SSD or HDD already installed require a mounting kit and possibly the cable. You need to know what you have to see what you can do with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What kind SSD do you have an NVMe? or a 2.5 inch drive? Finding that out would certainly help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most ssds will work. Just check the specs. Make sure the sizes match. If all else fails. You can remove the ssd from its case and carefully fit it to your pc.
