If your computer has two m2 slots this will work in your computer. You might need to take your computer apart to get to second m2 slot. No it will not operate in non m2 slots.

If you cannot find the other M.2 slot, you can get a PCIe card that will adapt the PCI-E x1 slot into an M.2 slot. You may need to look at your motherboard manual to see if the speeds are shared with other slots, but that will be the fastest way to add this on to your computer without having to take anything out.
