“Purchased many air poppers and the Tops always melt. No matter how careful or how much we follow the instructions and we don't use the butter melter. We expect it will eventually, but our last one melted on first use. Any problems with this unit?”

I’ve used it a bunch of times. The top has not melted, but the popcorn and kernels pop everywhere. Yah unpopped kernels escape. The butter warmer doesn’t work that great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Purchased this popper about a month ago and it gets used 4-5 days a week. We have owned many poppers and have never had the top melt. This popper is the sturdiest one we have owned. The heat coming from a popper is not hot enough to melt plastic. place it in an open space when using so the heat is not trapped in.
