Can this also be used for canning? null

nothing in the user manual but some cookers can be used to can, suggest going to the cuisinart web site and checking there

I don't think so. Would you really want to put glass in a locked high pressure, high temperature container? Unless you're a professional canner, I wouldn't think so. And a professional canner wouldn't need to ask this question.
