Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not only is it induction compatible it’s induction recommended. Induction stoves, along with carpet & popcorn texture ceilings, rank among the demonstrably worst inventions that are still commonly used in homes. Induction stoves do not maintain a constant, steady, stable temperature; no, like a rollercoaster, the coils turn red hot for a few seconds depending on the temperature” you’ve selected” and then they turn off until the built in time or, if you’re lucky, until a sensor detects the surface temperature has fallen below the acceptable range. It’s just another way appliances have been “reimagined” to suck from day one and break in no less than 5 years. Funny how these stoves were marketed as the “trendy option,” we’re not cavemen, so why would we use actual fire to cook? Only poor people use fire! But now a gas range is a luxury in houses and apartment complexes won’t use gas because it’s a “fire hazard.” The only way you can hope to cook a decent meal on one of these is to buy expensive cookware made with stainless steel or iron. Basically, a thick homogenous metal that takes a long time to heat up but instead of cooling off when the coils are off maintains the heat level you need to evenly cook whatever you’re cooking. These pots & pans are designed to do just that, I own 2 and love them. An iron skillet works well too but they’re less desirable due to their weight. It’s just a matter of time til it scratches or chips the surface of your pretty induction stovetop. I’m fact I would bet that most manufacturers explicitly say not to use iron. So yes, these work on induction. They work well. They will last forever if you take care of them. Teflon is poison. Watch some YouTube videos if you’re concerned about food sticking to all clad. There are “stainless steel” cookware brands but I’ve never found one that compares to all clad’s “sandwich” design. Not all stainless steel is created equal. Good luck.
