A:AnswerPull the card harder. It is folded up inside. I got the same answer from their customer service. Ridiculous. When I took off the bottom to see what was going on inside I found the cord folded inside.
A:AnswerOne time I had an issue with the lever, and it turns out that there were some grounds that had gotten stuck inside the hole. I simply unplugged it and turned it upside down, used my sprayer to force some water inside it and voila! It worked great afterwards. I bet that's what's happened to yours. Some grounds are stuck in the drip hole. It's really a very simple design and simple to fix!
A:Answermakes twelve 5 oz "cups". Yeah I know that a cup is 8oz however cuisinart says coffee cups are only 5oz. So if you fill to the 12 cup mark you'll get 60oz of coffee (12x5). As you discovered 60oz of coffee is only 7.5 "real 8 oz cups" (60/8=7.5). Strange to say the least!!!!
A:AnswerHi. Any grounds that get past the filter can get stuck in the rubber stopper of the dispenser. Rinsing the stopper well will take care of this issue.
A:AnswerThis will happen if you have 2 filters stuck together, or if you use more than 14 scoops (14 tablespoons) of coffee, or if you are using coffee that is too finely ground.
A:AnswerThe coffee must be put in the basket, using either a paper filter or the permanent gold filter supplied. I recommend the paper filter to prevent grounds in your coffee.
A:AnswerThe default is 2 hours, but it can be changed to 4 hours by turning the knob to the auto off position and changing the time in the same manner that you set the clock.
