“Does the bottom of this toaster oven get so hot that it will burn my laminate counter top?”

• No it does not. I use it on a laminate without any issues. While it does radiate heat, it is nothing that would cause damage to laminate. I move papers and plastic cups away, but most of the heat is radiated through the front (the door does not seal...and is not intended to do so).
