Is there any plastic inside the kettle?? null

There is a bit near the spout inside. It holds a little screen to help filter out any scale that may develop in the kettle bottom. I believe that the see-through column is plastic too. The interior bottom and interior sides are metal, however. I don't think there should be any concerns regarding this small amount of plastic. This product appears to be well-built.
