“How hot does the exterior get when set to max heat setting?”

• Since it's stainless steel it does get toasty on the outside especially if you are bringing to a boil. I don't think it would leave any burns but you definitely couldn't comfortably grab the sides when it's hot. The handle is sturdy enough to pour without touching the kettle.

• Exterior does not heat up at all. It is all internal, even for the boiling temperature.
