• About three feet and can hide some of this by wrapping into the base.

• Cord is short and not removable. There is a plastic strap to bunch up the excess.

• The cord is 36 inches long and is not removable. It looks like the cord can be wrapped around the underside of the base, except for the plug which will still stick out. It is permanently attached to the base that provides power to the heating element in the pot. The pot is removable from the base when you pour the hot water.
