We just bought a Cuisinart Programable Electric Kettle Model 
CPK-20. The kettle just keeps boiling at 212 Degrees without shutting itself off. Is there something wrong with the Temperature Setting?

It seems that you have the “Keep Warm” on. The CPK-20C default is to have the “Keep Warm” on. If you press the “Boil” button, it will get the water close to boiling for 30 minutes. Check the user manual on page 6.

Mine shuts off automatically after not using for about 10 mins. If yours doesn’t and it should, it may be worth exchanging it for another one since it’s an electrical unit , it may overheat and start a fire. I suggest you unplug it till you decide on what to do.
