Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, that's one of the only draw backs. The more careful you can be pouring to keep the batter on the metal funnel and off the plastic rim the better off you'll be. But either way it's not a terrible chore to clean.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I could not figure out a way to removed it. I overfilled it the first time I used it, so it did take some work to get it clean. If batter is measured correctly, the little bit that gets in there when filling is easily cleaned off.
