Hello, both models are comparable in load and runtime, and both models are pure sine wave models. The only real major difference is with the style of LCD screen, though the CST1500SUC does supply surge protection to a coaxial line if that is needed and offers slightly more power through its USB Port, being able to provide 30 W over the GX1500U's 15W.
