Hello! The CyberPower 1500VA Sine Wave UPS should be kept upright during operation to ensure proper ventilation and battery performance. While it can be laid on its side temporarily for storage or transport, we don’t recommend operating it that way. If you need a horizontal installation, our rackmount models are designed for that setup.
