Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The unit will beep at you informing you that the power is out or there is problem with mains power. You can mute noises or sounds by going through the menus. Refer to the owners manual for procedures on how to mute or silence the device I have used my UPS's during major storms to make sure that laptop and tablets stay charged and use small battery packs for phones.
