So there is a mute function but if there is a major fault the UPS will override the mute MUTE: This icon appears whenever the UPS is in silent mode. However, when there is a problem with the UPS, the alarm will still beep even in silent mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, You can mute the alarm on the GX1500U by holing the mute button down for 2 seconds. It will stay muted after power is restored as well. Critical alarms like the overload tone cannot be muted. Great question!
